P.A.N.
NATIONAL AEROBATIC TEAM
Born on March 1, 1961, at the Rivolto air base following the decision of the Italian Air Force to create a permanent group for aerial acrobatics training, the National Aerobatic Team is better known by the name Frecce Tricolori and is today the largest aerobatic team in the world.
For over 60 years, the Frecce Tricolori represent the skills and values of an entire Armed Force: professionalism, skills, dedication and team spirit. They also embody the essence of Italy, the cohesion and the pride of an entire nation. Each of their performances, driven by the pilots’ dedication and passion, captures the hearts of spectators, filling them with admiration and astonishment.
THE RETURN TO AMERICA
After more than 30 years since the last “Columbus ‘92” mission, the Frecce Tricolori will return to perform overseas, painting the skies of Canada and the United States with the color of the Italian flag in their long-awaited North America Tour 2024 (NAT-24).
This step-by-step journey represents a unique opportunity to enhance the technical and professional skills of the Italian Air Force, as well as a moment of great prestige to represent Italy and Made in Italy. The P.A.N. will be an ambassador of the Italian excellence, offering flyovers and performances that embody the passion, precision and aerodynamic elegance that distinguish not only this extraordinary Group, but also the entire Italian style. Each flight will be a homage to the genius and beauty of Italy, a celestial bond that will link hearts and cultures under one flag.
NORTH AMERICA TOUR
The NAT-24 will open on 22 June with an exhibition in Bagotville, Canada, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force, in a meeting between two realities with a century-long history and traditions based on shared values. The tour will continue throughout the summer season, until early September, with overflights and performances at numerous locations in Canada and the United States of America, including Niagara Falls, Montreal, Ottawa, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon and Monument Valley, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Moose Jaw, Chicago, Toronto, Philadelphia, New York, Washington, Newport, and Boston.
