The Tornado IDS (Interdiction/Strike) is a multirole fighter-bomber produced in collaboration between Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom. Entering service in the 1980s, the Tornado IDS represented a milestone in air force projection capability, thanks to its ground attack and operational versatility.
